My bloodwork came back and my Hgc levels were almost 30,000 which means I was able to schedule my first ultrasound! Jon and I went this morning and we were able to see our little "blob" and we were able to hear its little heartbeat. How freaking cool. It is simply amazing how something so tiny can have such a strong heartbeat. There is a little life growing inside of me. We are so excited to meet this little person! They are sticking with 9/3 as the due date. The baby is measuring about 9mm. My mind is a little more at ease and my worries are slowly going away. I know things can still happen but seeing our little miracle and hearing a strong heartbeat definitely makes it easier.
